Azmira® Classic Formula Dry Cat Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO cat food nutrient profiles for “All Life Stages”.

Cats eat to meet their energy needs. Common sense is the best guide to feeding your cat. You may need to adjust the daily ration according to activity level, environment, or changing weather.
For the Average Adult Cat: Feed 1/2 cup (8oz) daily; use the "free choice" method or a minimum of two meals daily.
Pregnant or Lactating Cats: Feed 1 and 1/2 times the amount of adult ration for the same weight level. Three meals per day works best.
Kittens: Start feeding Azmira® at three weeks, as gruel consisting of warmed goat's mil and out canned food formula. Slowly introduce the crushed kibble as appetite increases. Feed four meals per day from weaning until four months old, at which time you can decide a schedule based on the kitten's own needs.
Senior Cats: May need daily ration reduced by 1/4 to 1/2 according to activity level. In general, when supporting an older, less active pet, Dr. Newman recommends feeding smaller meals three to four times per day and adding Azmira®'s canned food formula (moisten or crush kibble to help chewing and digestion).
Overweight and Underweight Cats: Feed according to desired weight as listed below.
Switching You Cat to Azmira®: Our quality and freshness make it easy to switch the average cat. Dr. Newman recommends the "two week" method; feed half of the old diet with half of the Azmira® during the first week, then decrease the old diet, adding more Azmira® during the second week. Be sure to reduce kibble quantity accordingly.

The Feeding Guidelines below use a standard 8oz measuring cup
- Up to 4lbs: 1/4 cup or less per day
- 4lbs to 8lbs: 1/4 to 1/2 cup per day
- 8lbs to 12lbs: 1/2 to 3/4 cup per day
- 12lbs to 18lbs: 3/4 to 1 cup per day
- 18lbs and Up: 1/8 cup per additional 2lbs
